I don't personally know anyone else that did likewise. I can be asked a simple question about laundry (for example) and it takes me a minute (with a blank look on my face lol) to figure out what the person is really asking for. My brother and I were able to solve it using a book called “The Simple Solution to Rubik's Cube,” long, long, ago!. I did solve it, once, without cheating, with the help of this book, “The Simple Solution to Rubik's Cube” by James G. To provide an example of how VPython alone might be useful in the classroom, I decided to write a simple model of the Rubik's cube. This is probably my favorite puzzle as it change shape despite its simple design (more symmetrical than the Square-1). I solved rubik's cube without the aid of any of the solutions that were available. And i was a natural at GED (geometrical engineering drawing) or tech drawing, so much so that i did my 'A' level in my spare time as an additional subject. People like me need assistance! I was frankly surprised at just how simple this turned out to be; the end I found this project interesting because the Rubik's cube and its solution usually involve some group and/or graph theory to represent states of the cube and the moves from one state to another. For many people, the Rubik's cube is only this impossible-to-solve iconic puzzle from the 1980's but as the internet is providing more and more easy-to-follow solutions through java applets and youtube videos, more and more people have been able to solve it.
